When you are ready to adopt a lifelong companion, start on our Available Pets page to find a cat or dog that fits your family and lifestyle.
Once you pick the right pet, complete the adoption application and follow the process below. CHS does not have a physical shelter. All animals live in private foster homes. If you want to meet a specific cat or dog, email info@coppellhumanesociety.org.

Where do I submit my application?
Please email completed applications to animalcoordinator@coppellhumanesociety.org .
What happens once I have submitted my application?
After submission, an adoption coordinator typically contacts you within 1 to 2 days. Submitting an application allows CHS to review your information and pre-approve adoption, but does not obligate you to adopt.
Pre-approval allows us to hold your selected pet until you can meet in person and complete the adoption process. Please note: CHS adopts within the Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas area.
